THURSDAY ONLINE INFO
We will be doing our Facebook live event every Thursday night at 7pm. We have recorded a copy of each week for you to view anytime.
One of the ways that we will maintain connection with each other will be through a live Facebook feed on Thursday nights (not Friday) at 7pm. This will be a time similar to our Large Group where we can read the 8 Principles and 12 Steps of recovery and hear the regularly scheduled teaching or testimony.

NOTE FROM SARAH BURTON, CR DIRECTOR
about Celebrate Recovery Weekly Meetings (3/18/20)
As we are all well aware, we have entered some challenging times, some unprecedented times. All across our nation churches are respecting the CDC and President Trump's call to limit social gatherings in an effort to reduce the risk of a pandemic. Christ Community has also chosen to do as requested. This means that we will not be holding our regular Friday evening CR gathering for the next 4 weeks, longer if necessary. This includes our dinner time together.
However, we do not believe that we should stop 'meeting together' completely. We are a family and families stay connected, especially in difficult and troubling times. We just have to be a little more creative about it.
•1. One of the ways that we will maintain connection with each other will be through a live Facebook feed on Thursday nights (not Friday) at 7pm.
This will be a time similar to our Large Group where, through Facebook, we can worship together, read the 8 Principles and 12 Steps of recovery and hear the regularly scheduled teaching or testimony.
Those who tune in will be able to share comments or ask questions through Facebook to which we will respond as possible. We may not be able to be physically present to each other, but we can still be community using the tools that are available today. (See below for how to connect to us on Facebook.)
• 2. If you regularly attend Christ Community CR, we do have an alternative to an open share group available for you on Friday nights and I especially encourage you to take advantage of this if you are struggling. Please get with me for more information email@example.com
•3. Another way we are able to be community to one another is to stay connected to our sponsors and accountability partners. Reach out to one another a little more to encourage, pray with and strengthen each other.
Remember Ecclesiastes 4:12 that says, "A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."
Recovery is an ongoing intentional effort. It is important for us to maintain the momentum of our recovery through these challenging times. We need each other more than ever. We must encourage one another as we may experience isolation, financial hardship and/or loss. Recovery is a choice. Community is a choice. Your CR leadership team and the staff at Christ Community Church will endeavor to be here for you to the best of our ability.
•4. If you are not already a follower of our Facebook page, then in Facebook search "Celebrate Recovery Winter Haven" to find us. Or use this link:

Until we are back to normal...
We are the body of Christ, not the building. Let us worship together in spirit and truth and give Him all the praise and the glory. He alone is worthy!
