WE'RE SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!

Our church is a place where all are invited in to discover who God is and the purpose,  He has for all of us in His story.

We think church should be one of the most engaging and exciting places on the planet—a place where people

of any and all backgrounds can experience a God who is real and relevant in their lives today.

And that's exactly what we want to help you do!

We hope that we can answer some questions you might have before coming to Christ Community below.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • WHEN ARE YOUR SERVICES
AND HOW LONG DO THE LAST?

Worship services are on Sunday mornings at 9am and 10:40am. They are identical services and last approximately 70 minutes each.

  • WHAT DO I WEAR?

Diverse. Casual. Relaxed. Christ Community Church is a “come as you are” church. You’ll see people wearing jeans, shorts, slacks, dresses, t-shirts, jackets, and ties. You are free to come exactly as you are, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

  • HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?

We open the worship doors 15 minutes prior to service. Coffee is available before and
in-between services out in the mall area for you to enjoy anytime from 8:30-10:30am.

  • WHERE DO I PARK?

We are located at 1895 Overlook Drive in Winter Haven. Entrances into the building and parking are located on either side as you pull in.

  • WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?

When you arrive at Christ Community Church, you will enter our mall/cafe area where you’ll be greeted by a friendly smile from one of our first impression team members. We’d love to help you find your way into our Worship Center.

  • WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Children’s ministry at this time is available at 9:00am service: for ages K to 5th Grade and at our 10:40am services: Infant to 5th Grade.  Parents are more than welcome to bring their children with them into the worship center, but we ask that parents keep their children with them at all times.

  • WHAT IS THE SERVICE LIKE?

We encourage you to arrive on time, so you don’t miss any of the elements at the beginning of the experience. We usually start our services with a pastor or a director sharing a few announcements about what’s happening at our church. We’ll then continue with a time of energetic, meaningful praise and worship that flows right into a time of prayer. Then it’s time for the weekend message.

  • WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME?

If you’re our guest, we expect you to feel at home. Don’t feel obligated to do anything you’re uncomfortable with. Need to sit during the music? No problem. You’ll find that Christ Community’s church crowd is non-judgmental, and we love when our guests to come back and say, “I came back to church here because you accepted me - just as I am.”

  • We're happy to pray with you

At the end of service, you are welcome to join us in prayer after the teaching, even if this is your first visit. We have a prayer team that is happy to pray with you for anything that might be on your mind, or for your family and friends. You will find that Christ Community Church has a culture of caring for those in need.
